How can I add my 2nd-home?
In a few steps you can add your2nd-home.
1. Create an account
2. You will receive a confirmation email after submitting the registration form.
You need to activate the acount by clicking the confrmation email.
Warning: Some email providers will redirect this email to the spam/ bulk email forlder, look into these folders after submission to conform your account when no confirmation email has been received. When you didn't receive a confirmation email at all, please email me at info@2nd-home.eu
3. You can now log-in by filling in your username and password in the usermenu on http://www.2nd-home.eu
4. After logging-in you will see your personal menu. Here you can edit your user details, change your profile, add properties and manage properties.
5. When you choose to add your property you see 4 tabs to fill in.
The best you can do is to first fill in 1 tab and later edit the other tabs via the 'manage my properties' link in your personal menu to avoid time out errors and the loss of data.
Tab "Properties":
Description (max 30 signs):
Give a short description of your property. (obligatory field)
Property type: Choose if it is property for sale or rent and country. (obligatory field)
Suburb: Fill the suburb of the property. (NO obligatory field)
State: Fill the suburb of the property. (NO obligatory field)
Price per week or asking price: Fill in the asking price or rent per week. (obligatory field)
Do not fill in currency signs, komma;s or points, the system will do this automatically. (standard price is in euros)
When you want to add a price in a different currency, please use the conditions field on the 'extra fields' tab.
Introducton:Give a decription of the property (NO obligatory field)
Full text: Give a decription of the property (NO obligatory field)
Notice: You can make new subparagraph in the introduction or full text by using a HTML code when you place BR between <>
After filling in this information save your property by clicking the diskette icon.
6. After the information from teh first tab has been saved you can edit your property via the 'manage my property' link in your personal menu.
When you click on the name of your property you can start editing your propety.
In the different tabs you will find different information to add/ edit
Tab "Extra fields":
Availability:
When you want to insert the availability for your property you shouldn't alter this field. You can insert the availabile dates via the 'availability tab.
When you do not want to insert the available dates for your property, leave this field blank.
URL: Fill in your web site adress, with th http:// so customers can click your link. (NO obligatory field)
Tab "Photos":
You can add your photos here.
Click on browse to select the picture (JPG) from your computer.
Please make sure that your picture is not to big and has no strange symbols in the name. After your select a photo click the upload picture button. After uploading the picture you can reorder the pictures by the arrow.
After you uploaded all your pictures you can save your information and pictures by clicking the diskette icon or you insert the available dates for your property.
Tab "Availability":
- Wait untill the 'Availability' tab fully loads.
- Click on the name of the month to insert the available dates.
- Use the drop down menu to select the dates.
- Click on apply changes to save the available dates in the selected month.
- Re-do the above actions to insert the available dates of other months.
- Click the diskette icon to save all information and available dates.
The smartest thing to do is to give the available dates in the highseason a different colour and the days that are already occupied. (the other days stay white and these you do not have to alter, which saves time and work)
In the tab 'extra fields' in the field 'conditions' you can describe the low- and highseason prices.
7. After you have saved your property you can always edit your property by the 'manage my property' link in your personal menu.
